Dimensions:
+Size of the sheet : approximately 40,5 x 30,5 cm / 15,9 x 12 in.
+Size of the image : 33 x 23 cm / 12,9 x 9 in.

Condition: In fair/good condition, with soft handling creases, minor stains in the margins and some folds on the corners. One tiny missing part on the top left corner. Watermark on the bottom of the sheet and light vertical mark on the right margin. Tiny tears on the bottom and right margins. Image very clean otherwise with vivid colors. Not framed.

Not unlike the Maitre de L’Affiche series, L’Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-98, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series.

As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
